Yogi (& Tobi)

Meet the Iconic duo of Yogi SF (red/org chipom) & Tobi NM (white/tan chi)! These two seniors have been residents of CGHS but have been on hold due to medical and behavioral concerns. They are fully vaccinated, spayed and neutered, and Yogi even had an extensive dental so now they are ready to find a place to safely land and hopefully live out the rest of their lives in peace. Yogi and Tobi came to us after their previous owner passed away, due to this Tobi especially has experienced some life altering trauma which is why they've been on hold for so long.<br/><br/>Yogi is a very adventurous and social girl when it comes to humans, she loves meeting new people and can get along with just about any person. She is not a fan of dogs other than her brother, she will be reactive and bark on leash at them. Tobi is mostly just her slower more relaxed shadow, he doesn't seem to mind other dogs and is an especially excellent walker! These two have very sensitive tummies and will need to have someone willing to keep up with their diets! <br/><br/>(About Tobi's behavior: Tobi is a special older guy who really values not being touched without his explicit permission. He is not a biter but does have a very startling and loud scream/squawk. He does like people and has becomes close to staff, even getting excited to see us in the mornings and after breaks. He will only let us pick him up with the promise of going outside which he does give us a time limit for. He is a dog that will have a learning curve on how to approach and handle him, staff is patient and willing to show any interested parties just how to do so. We hope to find someone that is willing to let Tobi simply exist and stay with his sister who he loves very much.
