My DNA test revealed that my top four breeds are Siberian Husky, Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Alaskan Malamute, a combination that gives me both good looks and a wonderful personality. I'm currently undergoing heart worm treatment and should be ready for adoption by the end of summer.<br/><br/>Like any good Jedi-in-training, I'm working hard to master house training and leash walking. Every day brings new lessons, and I'm making great progress! I'm already crate trained, sleep quietly through the night, and ride wonderfully in the car. Baths don't bother me, and neither do thunderstorms or other loud noises. I prefer to stay calm and let the Force handle those things.<br/><br/>One of my favorite activities is being brushed and loved on. If you're relaxing on the couch, don't be surprised if I find a way to be right by your side. I love being close to my people and soaking up all the affection I can get.<br/><br/>When meeting new friends, I can get a little excited and may jump up to say hello, but I'm working on my manners and improving every day. Because of this, I may do better with older children.<br/><br/>Other dogs? Friends, they are! I especially enjoy dogs my size or larger and would love a canine companion to play and explore with.<br/><br/>Most of all, I want to be part of your adventures. Whether it's a hike, a trip to the park, running errands, or simply going for a car ride with the windows cracked, I'm happiest when I'm spending time with my people. At bedtime, I'll sleep peacefully through the night, but if possible, I'd love to be in the same room as you. Being close to my family makes me feel safe, comfortable, and content.<br/><br/>Strong with love, loyalty, and cuddles, I am.
