Ygritte's Story

--FOSTER PUPDATE--
Ygritte A183370
41 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old

-I go by "Iggy" in my foster home. I'm learning my name, and I know how to sit and take treats nicely.
-I'm a joyful, playful pup with tons of energy. I'll zoom around the yard for hours on end chasing a ball or a stick. I'm still learning to give it back.
-I'm getting better at walking on a leash, and love to take walks in the park. I'm very curious with other dogs and all people, but I still tend to jump on people and dogs, so keep an eye on your little humans.
-I LOVE other dogs, and I want to play with them all of the time! I'm learning to leave my resident dog alone (she doesn't like playing). I would love to have a fur-sibling to romp around with, after slow and careful introductions, of course.
-I'm crate trained, and "go to bed" when requested. Even tho I sometimes protest, I settle down in a few minutes with something to chew on.
-I'm almost perfectly potty trained, and very treat motivated. Getting on a consistent schedule has helped a lot, and it's been some time since my last accident.
-After I get all of my energy out, I am the sweetest, cuddliest little girl you could ever hope to meet. Just be ready to share that couch with me!
-I may be a little nervous at firsts... first time in the car, first time up the stairs, etc. but I'm a fast learner!

This pet is in a foster home! If you are interested in meeting Ygritte, please email foster@friendsofdacc.org with subject line "Ygritte A183370"

Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, and $40 for cats payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
