Yeti's Story

Meet Yeti! This cute little fellow is about a year old, and while he can be timid and take a day or two to really warm up, once he decides you're his person, he will be your (tiny) shadow! He just wants to follow those he loves around. He loves going on walks, going on car rides, and snuggling up to watch some TV (he especially likes to perch on your shoulder while doing so!)

He does have some separation anxiety. He isn't destructive, but will bark a lot--so an apartment probably would not be a good idea unless someone is home with him all the time. Having someone who works from home or is home a lot is probably the best situation for him in general.

He loves other dogs, doesn't really care much about cats either way (mostly just ignores them). He is a perfect mix of playful fun and tiny couch potato. As far as kids go, he does well with older kids. He would probably do all right with younger kids as long as they are respectful and let him have his personal space.

As for housetraining, he will only go outside if someone goes out with him. So he knows what he is supposed to do, but won't go outside on his own, and may have accidents in the house if you aren't going out with him.

So if you're looking for the cutest little velcro dog with lots of love to give, Yeti may be your boy!

Hearts 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
When you adopt from Hearts 4 Paws, you are rescuing a dog that would otherwise be homeless, abandoned, or even euthanized. By providing a home to an animal, in return, you receive love, companionship, and the responsibility to care for another life. Hearts 4 Paws rescues adoptable dogs from local shelters and temporarily places them in foster homes until a “forever home” is found. Before any adoptions occur, all potential adopters go through a carefully reviewed and considered application process.
