Shes three years old and 16 pounds<br/><br/>Yelena is looking to lay next to you while you watch the hallmark channel or football this winter- and would love to be in a home for the holidays!🎄 <br/><br/>She’s a certified Houdini who once took herself on an unscheduled tour of the Quad Cities (cue foster panic), so a very secure fence and direct supervision outside are absolute musts for this adventurous soul.<br/><br/>By day, Yelena is a busy little explorer. She is energetic, curious, and always on the move. She is learning what to do with dog toys and enjoys carrying them around. Come evening, her wild side powers down and she becomes a devoted lap dog who loves curling up with her person for a proper snuggle session. <br/><br/>She is:<br/> • Dog friendly with dogs her size, sometimes large dogs can scare her<br/> • Cat friendly<br/> • Crate trained and sleeps peacefully all night (although she would love to snuggle up with you instead)<br/> • House trained<br/> • Energetic yet cuddly — the best of both worlds<br/><br/>Yelena is also a loud, proud barker, which makes her less suited for apartment living, she will bark at new people but settles down quickly. She does enjoy walks and doesn’t seem to mind the snow- although she would prefer a shoveled path. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a pint-sized best friend with a whole lot of personality, confidence, and cuddle power… Yelena is ready to strut into your heart ❤️🐕<br/><br/>Yelena is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and prevention. She has an adoption fee of $300. To meet her, please submit an application at <br/>www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.<br/><br/>Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
