Yanko's Story

**** Please research the French Bulldog breed before applying.
They often require lifelong skin and allergy care.
Meet Yanko, a 1-year-old female French Bulldog who was recently surrendered to Prairie Paws Rescue. When she arrived, her skin was in rough shape—open sores and a very poor coat. She was taken straight to the vet, where she received an allergy injection, a month of oral antibiotics, and medicated baths. After a few weeks of care, she is looking so much better and feeling great.
Important Medical Note:
Yanko will need to remain on allergy medication for life. This may include a daily allergy pill or monthly allergy injections. Adopters must be prepared for this ongoing commitment.
Yanko is a very social, HIGH- ENERGY girl who loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has been around cats, dogs, and older children. At bedtime, she’s a snuggler—she loves curling up with people or other pets.
Her foster home uses a doggie door, which she’s learning to use for potty breaks. House training is still a work in progress, but she’s making steady improvement.
All medical work will be completed prior to adoption, including:
spay, core vaccinations, worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies, kennel cough, microchip, and a full veterinary exam.
Adoption Fee: $200 + tax with an approved application.
Apply on our website: www.prairiepawsrescue.com
Prairie Paws Rescue does not adopt on a first-come basis, but to the home that is the best fit for each pet’s needs.
