Yankee is smiling because we told him we would find him a home or rescue REALLY SOON! Yankee is a very friendly and affectionate boy who is getting along with others. He is currently sharing a kennel with Juno and having a ball. He appears to be a Bassett mix and is only about a year old. He weighs about 40 lbs., neutered and is HW negative! Yankee is ready for some AC!<br/><br/>Oh, and by the way, all the pets at the shelter really need YOUR help! Volunteers for dog walkers, shelter workers, transport to and from vet appointments, and foster homes are DESPERATELY needed. Overpopulation in our area is a huge problem. Contact the shelter by email or phone if you can be part of the solution!
