He is 8 years old, 22 pounds and is as nice as they come. He loves people, being with you, friendly with other dogs and well mannered. Talk about a sweet face and disposition – just a delight to foster here. Everyone gave him tail wags, except for Phoebe and had so much fun running in the yard with Bogey & Fabio. Yadi was named after baseball Cardinals catcher and this boy has no strikes. He is very active and full of energy. He is a cuddler and snugs in close and lays his chin on your legs. A good listener and obedient, although does not seem to respond to his name. Yadi is an owner surrender who had acquired him as a puppy. His wife passed away 2 years ago and has spent little time at home or is travelling and then he is boarded. This upsets him as he craves company with his person and not being left all alone for long periods and does not like being in a crate. He is very good when left alone to run errands and appointments, is house trained and does not get into trouble. He enjoys being on the furniture and bed with you and does sleep through the night like a log. Yadi will bark if he hears a noise, a good deterrent for would be crooks. He seems to be unfamiliar with toys, loves them, or certain household items that make a noise. But he is settling in so very nice and a wonderful guy to have around. Yadi is a gentle boy, was very good with the grandkids and has a great temperament. He would benefit from leash training, is very strong and pulls hard. Yadi is just excited for his new journey and adventure on life and would be the best Forever Friend.
