Nicknames: Xerc, Terx, stitch, crazy man, little big man.
Age: 6 Months old, Born 12/17/17.
Activity Level: Pretty chilled out once settled. He’ll play hard with a dog who wants to. When naps are happening he is a heavy sleeper.
Things I do in my free time: snuggle, nap, chew toys, run around and wrestle with my foster siblings (dogs)!
Things I know: sit, down, I know I eat in my kennel and I know I get a Kong in my kennel (if he sees these items he runs for his kennel)
Things I am learning: HAND SIGNALS, as I am deaf, I can’t hear you but if you give me a sign I can figure out a sit, down, and come.
Kids: Unknown, TBD
Dogs: Good
Cats: I don’t hurt them but I don’t understand them so I like to chase and bark. All of which my foster parents are trying to correct.

We recently learned he is deaf but Xerxes is a special little guy. He is sweet as pie & loves chewing things. He’s gaining some new teeth so that part is explainable. When he’s excited he runs in circles. The dude has got a little head bobble, and deafness potentially caused by an ear infection when he was super little. He’s, for the most part, a pretty normal puppy and LOVES SNUGGLES! He’ll need a bit more focused training than a normal puppy, but we’re confident a strong, dedicated leader for an owner would be able to do just dandy with this little man.
