My name is Xena and I'm a 6 year old gal looking for my next adventure. I heard Maine has a lot of places to explore and I would absolutely love that. Being part hound, exploring and sniffing new places is one of my favorite activities. I'm hoping my forever family will be active and want to take me to so many places!<br/><br/>I am a super affectionate girl so I'm hoping my forever family will enjoy that. I really just like being in your personal space. I've been working hard on my manners and I think I'm doing pretty well. I don't jump up, I'm very clean and perfectly house-trained. I find that just being with my person is all I need to be happy. Being in your company acting as your second shadow is all I could ever ask for!<br/><br/>Not to brag, but I do know a lot of tricks and if you come and meet me, maybe I'll even show them to you. I will say that when we go on walks, I like to take the lead. I prefer to pick where we are going, but I guess that humans are supposed to walk me… not the other way around. With treats, training and a harness I will do well though.<br/><br/>Going on walks, meeting new friends and being in public with other dogs is super fun and I like to say hello. But you should know that I would much rather have the spotlight on me only in my future home.
