Xena - Husky/Heeler Mix - Female - 14 months - www.twyla.org<br/><br/>If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org<br/><br/>Meet Xena: We think she is likely a husky/cattle dog mix.<br/><br/>What this means, is that she has more energy than the energizer bunny.  Xena is also very smart and good at problem solving.  Smart dogs are not always easy dogs.<br/><br/>Xena does well with supervision and guidance, but left to her own devices, she will make poor choices.<br/><br/>Xena is crate trained and is working on loose leash walking.  She has done well with dogs of all sizes.  She is likely not great around cats or other small animals.  Especially if she was not supervised.<br/><br/>Xena is fun and energetic, and a little too smart for her own good.<br/><br/>Xena is looking for an active home, with or without another dog for her to play with, but with an experienced active handler that wants a dog to train for dog sports (think Dock Diving, Rally, Barn Hunt, FastCAT etc) or an active regular hiking/biking/running partner.<br/><br/><br/>***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
