Some have even described her as a “Golden Retriever in a Malinois suit”, she is literally always happy and wants nothing more in life to be your and everyone else’s BFF.<br/>If Xari was human, she would be a world class rock band drummer since her tail is always going a bajillion miles an hour. But personality wise she would probably be the front runner for student council president! This girl can mirror her persons energy step for step throughout the day, chill in the morning for a slow coffee watching the sunrise, jazzed to run daily errands out and about in town, then wind down for a slow evening on the couch. She can do it all! Around the house she likes to be close to her person wherever they are #AKAShadow2.0, but she does enjoy exploring the yard or self-entertaining with a toy for some alone time. She loves to pull her blankie out of her crate and put it near you for nap time, also she has an “iron bladder” which has led to zero accidents in the house.<br/>During car rides she is amazing, jumps right in her crate and waits to be released, is super quiet, and has never barked at anything or anything. She is also well-mannered at the vet’s office. Loud noises do not bother her and when out and about in public she seems curious of children but not pushy. She was curious and respectful of horses but has not seen smaller animals such as cats and small dogs yet. There was a gopher in the yard, and she could have cared less #GoldenVibesAgain.<br/>Xari has has mastered the Kennel command and is a master of solving food puzzles! Commands and manners that she is working on diligently are Sit, Down, Wait, and loose leash walking. For training she prefers treats to praise or a toy, which this has been a work in progress since in the beginning she didn’t react to any of it. She is a sensitive girl so if she is doing something that is not approved a simple “NO” works for correction. When out and about on a leash she needs a prong collar since she is a puller that just wants to go go go.<br/>Xari is looking for her forever home which is super broad stroke, she could be in a busy or quiet home, kids or no kids, another dog or only dog. She is the swiss army knife of young ladies, so if you have a spot on your bed for your second shadow, then Xari is waiting for you!
