Xango's Story

Xango (pronounced Zango) is a 2 year old 10 pound liver and white Shih Tzu. He is scared of people he doesn't know but once he's comfortable with you he wants to be with you all the time. Xango loves to play with his toys and collect them, he does not share and would prefer to be an only dog. He is doing well with housebreaking, we are working on leash walking and he enjoys riding in the car. Xango is heartworm tested negative and on preventative, current on rabies and distemper vaccinations, is neutered and had a dental and micro-chipped. Shih Tzu Rescue of Central WI's Adoption Policy
Adoption applications are available on our website. We place dogs throughout the state of Wisconsin, we currently do not adopt out of state. Completed applications will have references checked and a home visit before being approved to adopt. The process can take a couple of weeks. Our dogs live in foster homes, we do not have a shelter. Adoptable dogs can be seen at our events.
