Xander's Story

He’s about 5-6mo old, very snuggly, plays fetch, adores snuggles, shares easily, has nice house manners, is dog friendly and is laid back
Saved from a life of neglect that no being should have to endure. Xander is a male GSD puppy who is 35lbs and likely only around 5-6 months old. He was picked up as a stray with an embedded chain in his neck. Despite his painful beginnings, he is extremely friendly and affectionate and trusting.
This morning he got his freedom ride with his awesome foster Mom. Although timid at first in the car, he made a wonderful recovery once home and after meeting his foster family’s canine welcome committee, Hurley. Hurley has been a wonder foster brother to many ARK dogs and is always a gentle companion sharing his heart, family and home to help dos with less fortunate beginnings learn about love and safety.
We are so thankful that Xander, a former blacktop traveler and accident waiting to happen as a stray puppy alone in the world, is safe, loved and has a bright future with the ARK Charities Family.
