Wynter's Story

Apply to Adopt Me!
Meet Wynter, a sweet 1 year old, 30lb husky mix. This gorgeous blue eyed girl came to us from Georgia, where she was found at a job site.

Wynter is very loyal and loves to cuddle close to (or on top of) her people at night. She will follow you from room to room and look you in the eyes as if to say, “what are we doing next?”. This girl is always down for an adventure.

Her favorite pastimes are zooming in the yard with her dog buddies and chewing/squeaking toys. She LOVES to play and go on hikes.

Wynter has had several professional obedience sessions and really enjoys training. Her trainer says she is “wicked smart” and fun to work with. This studious girl learns very quickly and already knows several commands and walks on a loose leash. Mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise for her.

Wynter sleeps quietly through the night while crated, is house trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. She’s great with baths as well.

Her ideal home would be active and have a fenced in yard. Wynter would thrive with an adopter that is committed to continuing her training, providing interactive toys, and engaging in daily exercise. She’s not a dog that will be happy being left at home alone for long hours.

Other dogs in her home would need to be active or tolerant of a young, playful pup. Wynter is also cat friendly!
