I'm house, crate and leash-trained, and I already know commands like sit, stay, come and outside! <br/><br/>I'm not just all energy and smarts, I'm also a cuddler, who will steal your seat if you're gone too long. That's because heelers like me are known to be very loyal. We're also built to move, so I would thrive with an active family who wants a true adventure buddy and training partner.<br/><br/>My past is a little traumatic, so when I get overwhelmed, I can slip back into flight mode, which is why a secure privacy fence is a MUST for me. I don't want to flee, but my instincts kick in when I'm frightened. So, I need a family who is also loyal and will keep me safe and set me up for success. I had surgery to fix my leg, but I'm healed and raring to go!<br/><br/>I'm great with other dogs and I do well with older kids (I might accidentally knock little ones over).
