Wyatt's Story

Wyatt is an 8-year-old chocolate boy who has now lost what he hoped would be his forever homes twice this year. His human died earlier this year so he and his other packmates came to HBHR. He was adopted several months ago, but unfortunately the family decided they couldn't live with his usual beagle behaviors like snatching food meant for someone else or trying to escape out of the door whenever it was opened. Wyatt was only being a very beagley beagle. He is now in a foster home where his foster parents say he is a well-behaved beagle boy who just wants to snuggle with the humans and play with his foster siblings. He is generally very quiet and only joins in with a beautiful beagle howl when the other foster siblings howl at other dogs or squirrels on the street. He loves to go for walks and does amazing zoomies at the dog park.

If you know how to manage food appropriately around a beagle and can use safeguards like putting a leash on Wyatt when an outside door is opened, Wyatt is the perfect beagle for you! He really needs a forever home where he will be loved and where he will never have to leave again!
