WYATT 's Story

We saved Wyatt in the nick of time!!! He is in a temporary foster home waiting for his furever family to come adopt him!!! Wyatt is 2 years old & 52 pounds but on the thin side due to the stress of being in the shelter. We are not sure if he is housebroken. He is neutered & up to date on vaccines. He is such a sweet boy!!! He gets along with other dogs (always do slow introductions) & has such a sweet disposition. Great on leash, loves his treats & is very loving. Please come and scoop him up!! The Soulful Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

We have been using a website for the past seven years called rescueme.org this has been a successful venue for us although their site is not always operating which we just experienced all of our ads being down for 30 days. Our process is we first speak to the potential adopters then they are asked to fill out an application we strive to match the dog in question to their home. Make sure our dog is dog friendly if they have other pets or cats. We either do a home check or pictures are provided to us of the home the yard and the fencing. We do our best to ensure ourselves and the Pat this is a loving appropriate home for them. We do take the dogs back if they don’t work out in the adopters home.

Our Mission

Our mission is to rescue dogs out of the high kill Los Angeles animal shelters. Provide love and care and find responsible long-term homes for these precious animals.
