Wumbo's Story

Meet Wumbo! He is 1.5 year old and full of love! He is a very mellow guy that prefers to sit in your lap and hangout. He does fantastic with other dogs and cats.<br/><br/>Prior to rescue, he had a severe secondary bacterial infection due to flea allergies. He has responded well to treatment and is currently in the process of growing his hair back on his lower back area.<br/><br/>He tested negative for heartworms and currently on Proheart 12.<br/><br/>He is fully vetted (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, fecal floatation/dewormer, heartworm test/smear, medical exams, and any preventative care needed).<br/><br/>Adoption application:<br/>https://www.forgottenfelinesrescue.org/Adopt#/animals

Forgotten Felines Rescue's Adoption Policy
Forgotten Felines Rescue of Louisiana operates a public-facing facility that is open by appointment only. Many of our kittens are cared for in foster homes. We only schedule meet-and-greets for approved applicants, and meet-and-greets are not available for cats currently in foster homes. Our adoption fees for adult cats and kittens vary based on age and breed and include spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia combo testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, fecal testing and deworming, flea prevention, and a full veterinary health check. Our adoption fees for adult dogs and puppies also vary by age and breed and include spay/neuter, heartworm testing and preventative, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and flea prevention. Our adoption process is simple and designed to ensure long-term, loving homes. Interested adopters complete an application, which can be emailed or downloaded from our Petfinder page. Once submitted, applications are carefully reviewed, and a member of our team will contact you within 24–48 hours. You can view all of our adoptable pets on our Facebook page and here on Petfinder.
