Wriley (Urgent Need, Courtesy Post)

Wriley is a sweet & playful Pitbull/Shepherd mix who is 10 months old & weighs 45 lbs. She was found on the side of the road by a family who took her in, but sadly cannot keep her. She likes other dogs and would be great in a family with other dogs her size to play with. She currently lives with an 8 lb chiweenie, but her play style is a little too rough for her teeny tiny companion. She is also living with cats and is not aggressive toward them, but she does need to be monitored around them because she likes to play & chase. There are no children in her current home, but older kids would probably be best as she is energetic & could easily knock small children over. She has good leash manners and knows basic commands, but a person/family who could continue training her is ideal. Her current family is trying desperately to find her a new home as they can no longer keep her and do not want her to go to the shelter! When they found her she had large spots of hair missing and was emaciated. They vetted her, have her on monthly HW & flea/tick preventatives and her skin has cleared up completely & she is at a healthy weight now. She is crate trained and up to date on rabies & distemper, but still needs to be spayed.
