Wright's Story
We call this pint sized ball of fun Wright. He is only about a year old and weighs around 20 pounds. Wright is a fun loving guy who has a pretty care free and go with the flow personality.

Wright does currently have some special needs as he came to us with a few medical concerns. Wright was presumed to have been hit by a car and x-rays revealed he had a broken pelvis and femoral head. He has been on cage rest for 8 weeks to give him time to heal. After his follow up evaluation we will know if surgery will be required.

As of right now, Wright just enjoys having fun with his people. He doesn't mind being handled, he was perfectly fine getting hugs and having his feet and tail touched. This little guy likes other dogs and doesn't mind our shelter cat either. He has great on and off leash (in a secure area) manners and listens to sit, stay and come very well.

He is a pretty cool little dude that is just missing a home to call his own. Wright's not really interested in toys that don't squeak, he genuinely seems to prefer the love of his humans to anything else we have to offer. Wright would make an excellent lap dog and could be perfectly content just keeping you company and taking short walks to sniff some new sniffs.

For more information on Wright or more about his condition, please reach out to the Wayne County Dog Shelter on Burbank Road in Wooster, OH at 330-345-1018.

If you would like to make a donation towards his medical care you can do so online at https://client.pointandpay.net/web/WayneCoDogShelterOH/
