Wriggly

Wriggly is a 9 pound 2 year old Shih Poo. Wriggly loves people and other dogs. He is playing with toys and other dogs and rides nicely in the car. We are working on housebreaking and leash walking which are going slowly. Wriggly has no vision in his left eye, and is borderline for dry eye in both eyes, he needs a lubricant gel and an ointment in both eyes 3 times daily. He is more likely to develop glaucoma and needs his eye pressure checked every 4 months. We take him to an ophthalmologist but your regularvetshouldbe able to handle it if you prefer. He had a neurological consultation fir twitching eyes and they figureditwas due to congenital hydrocephalus, nothing has further developed in the 20 months he has been here and is not likely to. Wriggly is current on rabies and distemper vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, micro-chipped and neutered.
