WRANGLER's Story

Meet Wrangler — your rootin’ tootin’ best friend! Wrangler is a handsome cowboy who’s always ready to make new friends and have a little fun. One of his favorite pastimes is playing a good game of fetch out on the “open range” in the shelter’s big grassy run. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick to ride off into the sunset with, Wrangler might just be your perfect partner. This striking pup is a total love bug who’s still learning how to navigate the world around him. Wrangler would thrive with someone patient, kind, and ready to provide the structure and guidance he needs as he learns the ropes. With the right person by his side, he’s sure to grow into an incredible companion. Wrangler loves treats of all kinds and takes them gently, showing off his sweet and polite nature. He’s a fairly quiet boy, rarely barking and only whining a little when he has something to say. His absolute favorite things in the world, though, are stuffies—he can happily spend time tossing them around and playing to his heart’s content. If you’re ready for your next great adventure, Wrangler is ready to saddle up and go with you.

Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
