Woofie (SPONSORED)'s Story
70+ pounds
Spayed Female
Found W Pine River Road
Adoption fee: $0

Sweet heart Woofie was left at the shelter as a stray with no one to say they loved her.
We fell in love with her and know she has a heart of gold. She seems fairly well trained, she knows a few commands and looks to please whoever has her. She was very scared and confused when she first arrived, tail tucked and head drooping down. She has shown us how loving and gentle she can be! She does need work with walking properly on a leash without pulling, but otherwise she is a doll.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend bringing any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org.
Open Adoption Hours:
• Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm
• Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm
• Saturday: Noon – 4 pm
I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.
We can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new best friend!
