Wooffles's Story

Wooffles
Male
Age: 1 year
Weight: 46 lbs
Breed: German Shepherd/Husky

Hi, I'm Wooffles! I'm a silly, loving guy looking for my best friend. I have the handsome face of a German Shepherd, the goofiness of a Husky, and I'm a world-class cuddler. I'm great with dogs and cats and love playing with both. I haven't been around a lot of kids, but I've loved the attention from the ones I've met. I can be a little shy with new people at first, but I warm up quickly and absolutely LOVE attention. I'm house trained and crate trained and should be crated when left alone. I love treats, squeaky toys, car rides, and especially snuggling up with my human at the end of the day. Right now, I'm finishing treatment for heartworms and I'll need to stay on activity restriction until about mid-September while I recover. Because I've had to take it easy, I haven't had much practice with walks yet, so I may need a little leash training and socialization once I'm cleared. I'm a smart boy, though, and I think I'll catch on quickly. Once I get the all-clear, I'll be SO excited to play with other pups, go for walks, run around, and become someone's adventure buddy. I could easily see myself becoming the perfect patio pup for those beautiful autumn days. Until then, I'm perfectly happy taking car rides with my ears flopping in the wind, having silly moments with my foster siblings, and cuddling with my people. Could I be your new best friend?
