Woody's Story

Woody & Jessie 🖤🤎

About 10 days ago, these two young shepherd/hound mixes wandered into our shelter together. We believe they're siblings, likely around 1-2 years old, and despite our hopes, no one has come looking for them.

The bond between these two is something special.

Wherever Jessie goes, Woody follows. Wherever Woody goes, Jessie is right behind. They find comfort in each other, they play together, they nap together... they even choose to share a kennel.

Today was their first chance to really stretch their legs in our play yard, and they were pure joy to watch. They romped, wrestled, chased each other, and played until they simply couldn't play anymore. For a little while, they got to forget they were in a shelter and just be happy.

They're incredibly sweet, well-mannered dogs. Both know how to sit when asked, love attention, and have gentle, affectionate personalities. They're the kind of dogs who make you smile without even trying.

We know bonded pairs can be a little harder to place, but our hearts would love nothing more than to see Woody and Jessie spend the rest of their lives together. After everything they've been through, they deserve to keep the one constant they've always had--each other.

If you have room in your heart and home for two amazing companions, please come meet Woody and Jessie. We truly believe they'll reward you with twice the love.Thank you for taking the time to look at our precious "pound puppies" If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at 730-272-1071. We would love to help connect you with your new best friend.
