Wonder's Story

Wonder is a 2 year old heeler weighing in at 28 lbs. Wonder came to Woodstock after her time was up at a rural shelter. She was originally picked up as a stray, running in a field with her older puppies.

At first Wonder is shy and slow to warm up, but once she loves you, she REALLY loves you!

Wonder is housebroken and crate trained and does well on a leash. She loves to go for walks.

Due to breed and skittish nature, a home with no younger kids is recommended. Wonder loves other dogs and cats are unknown, but again due to breed, not recommended.

Wonder would do best in a quieter home, without a lot of traffic as people she doesn't know make her nervous.

We would definitely recommend a home with someone who has experience with her breed.

Application for Wonder can be submitted at
https://www.woodstockanimalfoundation.org/adopt-a-dog/

Location is Lexington KY
