Wolfy's Story
Wolfy is about 5 years old. He was surrendered because his family was unable to provide for his medical care and were going to be displaced from their home. Wolfy has environmental allergies. Our veterinarian also diagnosed him with a heart murmur and Addison’s disease. Wolfy is on daily Apoquel and Vetmedin. Wolfy’s last Addison’s crisis was last year in February. He needed Prednisone to recover. Despite all of his challenges, he is a very sweet and playful dog. Wolfy can be silly and his favorite thing is to pick out a stuff animal to take with him when he goes outside to potty. Wolfy okay around most other dogs but he prefers to play and cuddle with humans. Wolfy has been around different age kids and does very well. Because of his condition, he is a high risk for anesthesia and is not neutered. He can only go to a home with other males and or spayed females. Wolfy was actually named after a little boy who said he looked like a wolverine. Please reach out to us if you are interested in opening your home to this special guy!
