Wolfie's Story

Meet Wolfie !

Wolfie is an adorable 7 pound, one and a half year-old Lhaso apso/Brussels Griffin mix and is currently available for adoption with Little Dog Rescue Society.

Wolfie is a very small, sweet boy with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He is a true lapdog. His favorite things are forehead kisses, snuggles, pets, and being close to his person. He has a low energy level and would be happiest in a calm home where he can relax and soak up affection. We think young children under the age of nine would be too active for him.

Wolfie is a very good boy who is gaining confidence every day. We think he was kept in someones backyard as many California dogs are. Hes curious about cats and can sometimes get a little jealous when attention is shared. Wolfie is unsure of other dogs, probably because he has had no exposure to them.

Wolfie always wants to be included and close to his family. He is nervous meeting men. Hell happily let you know when someone is at the door with a bark or two.

While toys arent really his thing, Wolfie is much more interested in spending quality time with his human. He loves affection, companionship, and being part of your daily routine. Wolfie rides well in cars sitting in his dog seat and looking out the window quietly.

If you are interested in adopting a small, quiet and calm dog, Wolfie is that dog!

Included in Wolfies adoption are:

-neuter surgery (done)
-one set of vaccinations (done)
-deworming (done)
-flea and tick meds (done)
-a vet check
-leash and harness
-microchip (done)
-2 week trial adoption

A home visit and references are part of his adoption process.

Thank you for wanting to change the life of a homeless dog!!

We are an established BC Non Profit Society committed to saving homeless small dogs and finding them loving homes in BC.

Wolfies adoption application is below.
