Wolaf's Story

Wolaf is a gentle senior Terrier mix whose life hasn't been easy. Like his sister, Rufosa, he spent far too many years without the love, comfort, and security every dog deserves. Now in hospice care and on heart medication, Wolaf's needs are simple—a soft bed, a warm lap, and someone to love him for however much time he has left.
Because of his heart condition, our veterinarian has recommended that he not be neutered, as anesthesia would be too risky. What Wolaf needs most isn't surgery—it's compassion.
His greatest wish would be to spend the rest of his days with his beloved sister, Rufosa. They've been together for most of their lives, finding comfort in each other through difficult times. We can't imagine a happier ending than watching them leave the shelter side by side.
Please open your heart to this sweet senior boy. He may not have years ahead of him, but every day he has left deserves to be filled with love, peace, and the comfort of a family. A shelter is no place for a dog to spend his final chapter. Help give Wolaf—and hopefully Rufosa too—the ending they've always deserved.
