Hi People!<br/>My name is Witty and Whimsical Winston, and I’m a two-year-old Havanese boy who is cute, smart, athletic, playful, and a wee bit independent! I’m also a very handsome fellow, if I do say so myself. My beautiful swirl of black, gray, and white looks like a Monet painting. Think Starry, Starry Pup! (I’m not too sure who Monet is, but Dad says I’m a little work of art. I think that means I’m pretty darn special!)<br/><br/>Now, let me tell you a little about myself. I LOVE toys, and I’m really good at entertaining myself. I can toss my own ball or toy in the air and have a grand old time chasing it when it comes down. Who needs someone to throw a ball when you can do it yourself? (I’m a very resourceful little guy!) Of course, playing with my people is fun, too.<br/><br/>But wait! There’s another side to me. (Drum roll, please.) I’m also a world-class cuddler who loves snuggling on a lap. When I’m in the mood for some quiet time, you’ll find me relaxing in my bay window with my beloved blanket, watching the world go by. I enjoy my people, but I appreciate a little “Winston time,” too. You know, contemplating the mysteries of the universe, like where that ball went after I tossed it into the air!<br/><br/>My foster family says I’m an active fellow who loves long walks, outdoor adventures, and CAR RIDES! Hiking, exploring, or heading somewhere exciting? Count me in! I’m friendly with people, too, although I may bark a little when someone arrives. (A fellow has to announce visitors, you know!) But I settle down and make friends quickly.<br/><br/>I’m a clever boy who knows his name, can sit for his food, and has even figured out how to open his crate with his nose. See? Brains AND beauty! I’m still working on my potty training and am about 90% there, so I’ll need someone willing to continue my training with patience and a consistent routine.<br/><br/>My Ideal Home: <br/>• An active couple, family or individual who enjoys walks and outdoor adventures with an energetic canine companion<br/>• Someone who likes exercise, playtime, affection, and can provide training<br/>• A home with a securely fenced yard <br/>• No cats or other small critters<br/>• Adults or a family with dog-savvy, older and respectful children <br/>Experience Level: <br/>• Someone who has had dogs as an adult.<br/>• Recent or current dog experience would be a plus.<br/><br/>I’m looking for an active, loving family who will enjoy my playful side, take me on adventures, and appreciate my independent streak as much as my cuddly side. I’d love to be the one and only pup in my forever home, where I can soak up all the love and attention.
