WISP's Story

Wisp is a sweet girl who is having a hard time coping with shelter life, but there is so much more to her than what you might see in the kennel. When Wisp is comfortable with someone, she is incredibly affectionate. She enjoys attention from people she trusts, loves a good belly rub or booty scritch and has a playful side that comes out with toys. She has also shown that she walks well nicely on leash and would make a great walking buddy! Wisp needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her move at her own pace. A calm, patient home where she can decompress and build a relationship with her people would make all the difference for this girl. Wisp needs someone willing to see the dog underneath the stress of the shelter and give her the chance to show them who she can be. If you think you could be that person for Wisp, please call 937-898-4457 (option 2) and talk to staff about setting up a time to meet her.
