Welcome Wishbone to Murci's Mission Animal Rescue! <br/><br/>Wishbone is an adorable and energetic senior smooth coated Russell Terrier (short legged version of the Jack Russell Terrier) with an estimated birthdate of 09/19/2016. He came to Murci's Mission after a short stay at SCRAPS where he was picked up stray. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, Wishbone has gone without his basic needs met for a very long time and as a result, he is very underweight with allergic skin that has been inflammed for way too long. He is now quite the sight, skinny with big muscles and a lot of pink, bald skin. He just had a massive dental with most of his teeth extracted, and he's now on 3.6mg apoquel for life, and twice weekly medicated baths until his skin is recovered.<br/><br/>Important: apoquel is expensive at roighly $90 per month, and keeping him on it will be a part of the adoption agreement. Do not apply for this dog if his medical needs are cost prohibitive. He will come with his current supply of meds, as well as his shampoo. <br/><br/>Wishbone is good with other animals and would be fine with gentle children. He is leash trained and crate trained. He likes to wear sweaters and his tiny baseball cap. He is still full of life and deserves the best golden years he can have. <br/><br/>Wishy comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is waived as he is a senior, and includes a leash, collar, harness, meds, food sample, and wardrobe items.
