Meet Winter!<br/><br/>Winter came to us after being found as a stray. He had been on the run in the neighborhood for at least 7 to 8 weeks before he was brought to safety and into our care by our friends a GoodBoy Dog Recovery.<br/><br/>He had a severely embedded collar that caused a serious infection that needed emergency surgery, and long-term wound management to properly heal. He's on the road to recovery, and is ready for his forever home!<br/><br/>All dogs require an adjustment period after adoption to decompress and acclimate to their new home, routine, housemates, and environment. Our adoption process starts with the application and then you will be contacted upon approval. Please complete application at www.angelsretreat.org. Adopters must be able to meet dogs in person and bring all family members and other pets to meet the animal. Adopters must provide a vet reference or personal reference if no animals currently owned.
