Winter's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Winter! Winter is a 3 month old female great pyrenees and she weighs about 27 pounds, but she could grow up to weigh over 70 pounds. Winter arrived in rescue after being part of an accidental litter. She has been in a loving foster home since she was 8 weeks old. She is an active puppy that will need a family up for all things puppyhood brings - leash training, house training, socialization and learning that flip flops are for feet, not food. Great Pyrenees are very smart and very active and need a family that will understand this, as well as their grooming needs. Her foster mom says: A happy, easygoing Great Pyrenees who brings a quiet kind of joy wherever she goes, Winter is the definition of laid-back. She is perfectly content to take life as it comes, as long as there are a few pets and kind humans along the way! Winter happily soaks up affection from anyone willing to share it, making her an instant favorite wherever she lands. Her gentle, social nature also makes her a great companion for other dogs. Not much of a talker, Winter is wonderfully low-key and rarely barks, adding to her calm, peaceful presence in the home. She’s the kind of dog who fits in effortlessly—no drama, no fuss, just pure sweetness.

Winter is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on flea and heartworm prevention.

Winter is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $525. If you are interested in applying to adopt Winter, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
