Winston (Bonded w/Sadie)'s Story

This large tweenie boy at 18 lbs and 11 years old. He arrived with his older sister Sadie after their owner passed away, and they are a bonded pair. Both dogs take time to warm up to people, but then settle in and are lovely, happy seniors.<br/><br/>They both have what we think are their first-ever dentals on May 11th, where they will lose a lot of teeth. Both seniors have surprisingly good labwork despite not having been to the vet in several years. Sadie is a little hard of hearing, but she got some ear cleaner at the vet for an infection, and she might hear better after this. She loves to hang out outside if it's nice, or inside. Our adoption team is highly skilled at helping you find a dog with the right personality that will fit your family and lifestyle. Occasionally, we receive multiple promising applications for a dog and ultimately match the dog with the home where we think they will do best. We are committed to helping you find a dog even if you don't "match" on your first attempt. We would love nothing more than to help you find the forever dog of your dreams. Although we like to tailor each match, we do have some basic criteria we look with respect to adoptive homes: *Homes should be non-smoking *Have a securely fenced yard *Ability to commit to yearly dentals and shots for the pet *Willingness to purchase ramps and pet stairs to safeguard the dog's back
