He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, so he’s all set to start his next adventure.<br/><br/>True to his hound roots, Winston is a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play with other dogs and enjoys an active lifestyle. He does have a voice and isn’t shy about using it—just what you’d expect from a good-natured hound who likes to share his opinions!<br/><br/>Winston is both house-trained and crate-trained. He may “talk” for a little while when first settling into his crate, but he does adjust and settle down.<br/><br/>He does best with other active dogs who can match his energy and play style. He is not a good fit for homes with cats.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social companion who will keep life interesting and enjoy being part of an active household, Winston may be your perfect match.<br/><br/>Ready to meet Winston? The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.<br/><br/>**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
