At 28 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size—big enough to enjoy adventures, yet small enough to be an excellent cuddle companion.<br/><br/>Winston is initially a bit timid in new situations, but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines. With time and reassurance, he becomes very affectionate and truly enjoys attention. He loves relaxing on the couch, sleeping in bed with his people, and being close to those he trusts.<br/><br/>He is mostly house trained and does best with a consistent routine. Winston is good with other dogs and has done well around children who are respectful of his gentle nature. While he hasn’t been formally tested with cats, his calm, easygoing temperament suggests he would likely do fine with proper introductions.<br/><br/>Winston loves snacks and takes treats very gently, which perfectly reflects his soft personality. He’s still learning about leash walking and doesn’t love it yet, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can help him build confidence at his own pace using positive reinforcement.<br/><br/>He is not crate-trained and currently sleeps on the couch or in bed—comfort and closeness are important to him once he feels secure.
