Our girl Winona is the sweetest soul youll ever meet. She wants so badly to bond with her person, and that includes wanting to follow them on any plans for the day. <br/><br/>She was pulled from a neglectful shelter in TX that was shut down for animal cruelty, but she ended up in a neighboring shelter that would have to euthanize her if they couldnt find a spot for her. And thats where we came in. Shes been through a lot in her short life, but now shes safe and looking for a fresh start! <br/><br/>She does get along with dogs, but we encourage a controlled introduction, so she feels safe. Too fast and she might be a little snappy or defensive, but she recovers quickly. She is learning to open up more and more every day, and shes started to understand that other dogs can be friends and playing isnt so scary. <br/><br/>Even though her past is traumatic, shes already taking steps toward recovery and happiness, and we know she will thrive with someone who can help her learn more about being a family pup.<br/><br/>If you feel you are the best home for her, please send us an application!
