The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home

My name is Winnie, and I am 1 year old and weigh 23 pounds. I was picked up as a stray. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE.

I am an affectionate girl. I love people! I love to cuddle! I have puppy energy, but my foster mom has not seen any chewing.

I am working on potty training. I need to go out right after waking up and right after eating. I need someone to go out with me until I learn where to go. I will go to the door and sniff the floor to tell you I need to go out. A doggy door could be useful ... I would need to learn how to use it and it might be scary at first, but I am smart and should pick it up.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? No
Leash-trained? Her right, rear foot area was treated and she is healing nicely. She is missing part of her pads on that foot, so she may lift it off snowy or cold surfaces. When it is warmer, she walks normally.

Adoption Fee? $500

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at ''https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.

MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.

MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.

If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application

Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
