Winnie

Winnie is gray 2 to 3 year old, 8 pound, gray Shih Tzu. She will be spayed after her leg surgery. She had been a stray in a neighborhood for a whole year. How sad is that! One neighbor would put food out for her. When that neighbor observed she was not putting weight on one front leg, the neighbor waited about a month and then called Animal Control. Her hair was like dreadlocks and she had to be shaved to the skin. She had obviously never been groomed. She is sweet but is very timid of people - understandably. She now loves the comfort of her open door airline kennel. She has access to a yard but she feels secure in her kennel. Unfortunately, her old leg fracture required that her leg be amputated.
