Winnie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster or forever home needed! Meet adorable Winnie! Winnie came to us as an owner surrender due to the family living situation changing. Winnie has lots of great qualities! She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, fully potty trained, great on the leash, and great with kids. In the past, she has lived with dogs, a cat, and kids ages 5 years and up. Winnie is dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. She is very sweet, affectionate, and loyal. She has the cutest little underbite smile that makes everyone laugh! Winnie absolutely loves going on car rides, playing fetch, chasing her ball, playing tug-of-war, and going on long walks and outdoor adventures...so Winnie would love a new family with an active lifestyle. She can be a bit fearful of strangers and large trucks, so in addition to finding an active family, one with patience and understanding would be ideal so Winnie can continue to build her confidence. Winnie sure does love spending time cuddling and relaxing with her family! She wants to be near her people. Winnie knows "sit," and "wait," and responds well to "no." She can comfortably relax in her crate for a few hours when left alone, especially with a good chew or treat (she is very food motivated and absolutely loves treats). She will thrive in a home that provides her with activity, patience, and love.

If Winnie sounds like a pup that would fit well in your family, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Winnie is located in southern California.
