This beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever Girl is looking for her new home for Christmas. Sadly, her dad and mom lost their jobs and had to move to a place with no fence which meant Winner had to be crated too long which is no way for a young, lovely, happy Golden Girl to live so, out of love for her, they surrendered her to GREAT Rescue knowing we would find just the perfect family for her so she could be home for the holidays.<br/><br/>Winnie is three years old, totally vaccinated, spayed, wormed, microchipped, house and crate trained plus she is in lovely condition with a soft cream coat that is wavy and very beautiful.<br/><br/>Her foster mom says she is just perfect in the house, very respectful of the furniture and does not get on any unless invited, she waits for her dinner to be put down before approaching it and she is a total cuddlebug!!!!<br/><br/>She lived with children, ages 9-16 yrs. and adores them. Winnie has also lived with a beagle size dog and 3 cats, so this girl is well rounded in enjoying both two and four legged friends. She is nervous around really large dogs because she has had little interaction with them. One of her favorite pass times is fetching a tennis ball so got children and tennis balls, Winnie is the girl for your family.<br/><br/>She is a snuggler so if you like to watch TV with a loving companion, Winnie is the girl for you. She enjoys stuffed toys and greets visitors with them after she feels comfortable with the new arrival. She likes to go on short walks but is unsure of unknown dogs so her family would need to make introductions very slowly. She does need leash training and GREAT Rescue will provide a visit or two from our trainer to help. <br/><br/>Winnie's new family needs a fenced yard, someone able to walk her daily, someone home much of the day, no children under 5 which is our Rescue rule for all adoptions and lots and lots of love to give plus tennis balls of course, , then please go to www.greatrescue.org to complete an adoption application.
