Winnie's Story

Hi friends! Winnie here checking in!

I know its been a little while since my last update, so I wanted to let everyone know what Ive been up to while waiting for my forever family to find me and hanging out with my foster family in Collingswood, NJ.

First things firstIm growing up! I am about 8 months old and I now weigh about 10.5 pounds! I've also been keeping busy with all my important puppy appointments. I got my vaccines updated and even got spayed. My foster family says I was very brave, but honestly, it wasnt a big deal and I was back to my goofy self in no time at all! But I wont say no to extra treats and cuddles that came with the experience!

When Im not being a responsible grown-up puppy, I spend most of my time playing. My favorite toys are Dragon, Snake, and Stick. Yes, those are their actual names. Apparently my foster family isn't very creative when it comes to naming toys, but I love them anyway.

Im also becoming quite the fetch expert! I love racing around the backyard chasing tennis balls and showing off my speed. Speaking of showing off, I recently got to visit the track meet at my foster family's school, and let me tell youI was a big hit! All the kids (and adults, too!) wanted to meet me, and I made sure to give out plenty of kisses because, hey, that's just what I do.

I absolutely adore people. Whether we're playing, walking, cuddling, or just hanging out, I want to be right there with my humans. Afternoon naps are one of my specialties, especially if they happen to involve snuggling up next to someone I love.

I've also developed some very important hobbies. Every day I sit in the front window to watch what my foster family calls "Puppy TV." Personally, I think it's just neighborhood surveillance duty. Someone has to keep an eye on the squirrels, delivery trucks, and neighbors, right?

And if you happen to find a bone hidden under a pillow, behind a couch cushion, or in a random corner of the house... you're welcome! I like to hide little "Winnie treasures" everywhere. You never know when you'll discover one of my surprise savings accounts.

My foster family says I have a wonderful personality. I'm playful, affectionate, loyal, curious, and always ready for an adventureor a cuddle session. I love making people smile, and I have plenty of kisses to give.

So if you're looking for a best friend, a couch cuddle buddy, a backyard fetch partner, a neighborhood watch supervisor, and a professional bone hider all wrapped up into one adorable package, I might just be the pup for you.

I've been waiting patiently for my forever family, and I can't wait to meet them. Maybe it's you?

Love,
Winnie

If interested in welcoming Winnie to your family, please reach out to: Wooflovemartine@gmail.com for an application or go to the website woofloverescue.org

Adoption Donation: $400

Includes age-appropriate vaccinations and required spay/neuter with copay at approximately 57 months of age (copays vary by partnered location).

If adopters use their own veterinarian within the same timeframe for spay/neuter and microchip, up to $110 reimbursement is available.

Woof Love Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Adoption donations are tax deductible.

Breed determination is based on limited history and rescue assessment and is not guaranteed.

Adoptions are within 3 hours of our foster homes, most in Southern New Jersey.
