Hi! My name's Winnie and I'm looking for my furever home! I was dumped on the side of the road in rural Texas with my two sisters. I still had my puppy collar on when they dumped me and my skin grew around it. Thankfully the nice people at Salem's Hollow found me and they were able to get me medical attention. I still have a scar but it's barely noticeable under my beautiful coat of fur! <br/><br/>I am approximately 10 months old, 35 pounds, vaccinated and spayed (my surgery's scheduled for 11/17/2023). Everyone tells me I have the softest coat they've ever felt but I don't shed much. I love everyone: people, children, other dogs, cats, and, despite everything I've been through, I have so much love to give! <br/><br/>My foster mom tells me I'm a very bright and happy girl. I potty-trained in only one day! I guess that's some kind of record or something. I know my name, "Come", "Sit", "Leave It", and "Off". <br/><br/>I'm not overly energetic for a puppy but I'd love to find a younger person or family that I can grow with. I love to go on walks and I have good manners in public. <br/><br/>I will be ready for transport from Austin, TX on 12/1/2023.
