Winnie is a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. When we first scooped her up from the shelter, she was battling ear infections and giardia, but thanks to some much-needed veterinary care, she’s feeling so much better and ready to start her new chapter.<br/><br/>Winnie is equal parts fun-loving playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. She has the best of both worlds—enough energy to enjoy playtime, walks, and new adventures, but also the calm, gentle nature that makes her happiest when she’s relaxing at home with her people. This sweet girl has wonderful doggy manners and does well with other dogs. When meeting new friends, Winnie can be curious and a little cautious at first, but she always greets them appropriately and quickly settles in to enjoy their company.<br/><br/>One of Winnie’s favorite activities is going for walks. She starts out with a bit of joyful enthusiasm, but after a short time she settles into a nice, steady pace that makes her a wonderful walking companion.<br/><br/>Winnie’s ideal day includes some play, a stroll outside, and plenty of time by your side.
