She was found this past January, chained outside a camper where her family had been living, just as a brutal cold spell was moving into Louisiana. She'd had puppies — likely right there, straight from her role as mom — and every one of those beautiful pups found loving homes. <br/><br/>Since then, she's been in foster care with Keri Toth, and it's clear the love and attention have paid off. She's blossomed into an incredible sweetheart — easygoing and unbothered, good with cats, calm around chickens, and clearly comfortable around kids from her own upbringing.<br/><br/>Now a healthy, chubby 49 pounds, Winnie is about as easy-peasy as they come — a low-key, affectionate girl who just wants a soft place to land.
