Winnie's Story
Winnie is a bright, friendly little terrier who is ready to get back to the good stuff: home life, soft beds, tasty snacks, and being part of a family. She is house trained and has the lively, curious personality you would expect from a terrier. Winnie is a little more reserved than her brother Waylon, but she enjoys attention and is ready for a home of her own.

When Winnie was just 8 weeks old, she and her brother Waylon survived a house fire. That was more than two years ago, and both dogs have long since recovered from their injuries. They were left with large areas of burn scars and permanent hair loss, but they do not need ongoing medical care.

Because their skin is more fragile than usual, Winnie wears a shirt to protect her skin from scratches. She may occasionally need lotion for dry skin and needs sunscreen on areas without hair when she is outdoors without a shirt.

Winnie and Waylon do not have to be adopted together. They are accustomed to sharing their space, beds, and snacks with each other. Winnie is ready for the home life she is missing. ❤️
If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt
