She’s a smart, affectionate girl who is ready to find a home where she can feel safe and truly bond with her people.<br/><br/>5 adjectives to describe her:<br/>Loving, loyal, intelligent, gentle, and devoted<br/><br/>Personality & Behavior:<br/>She seems to be really good with kids—very patient and gentle—and does well with other dogs. She has been around cats and seems to coexist with them, though a cat-free home will likely be the best fit for long-term success.<br/><br/>She quickly forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close to her family. She warmed up fast in her foster home and now prefers not to be alone—she’s happiest when she’s near her people. She may be a little unsure when first meeting new people, but she is submissive and settles in quickly.<br/><br/>Winnie also does well in a more active home environment.<br/><br/>Likes:<br/>• Being brushed (she LOVES it!)<br/>• Going for walks—she walks beautifully on a leash with no pulling<br/>• Spending time with her people<br/>• Relaxing outside (she seems most comfortable there but is learning to enjoy indoor life too)<br/>• Being part of everyday family life<br/><br/>Things she’s working on:<br/>• Stairs—she’s a bit scared and will need patience and encouragement<br/>• New environments can make her unsure at first<br/>• She’s still learning how to play and relax—this is something her fosters are actively working on, and she’s making progress every day<br/>• Building confidence being alone for short periods<br/><br/>Training & Home Life:<br/>She is housebroken, does well in her kennel, and is very attentive and eager to learn.
