Winnie's Story
Winnie was born Nov 2025. She is a playful, smart, attentive little girl, who loves to play with toys and her brothers then pile up on the pillow to snuggle and nap. She will often be the first to determine it's time to do so. She is the most vocal while playing with them, often dramatic, making us think she is getting roughed up when she is actually the instigator. She can certainly hold her own with them.

She is very observant and attentive and stops whatever she is doing when we talk to her, which makes it easy to redirect. She loves her siblings, our 2 grown dogs, and our 2 cats are just more friends. I'm sure she will be good with kids, for it just means more pets and play. We are working on potty training, and she is good about using the pads. She loves soft training treats and gets excited when she goes on the pad and we tell ger good girl, for she knows what comes next. She should be easy to train.

Winnie sleeps all night in the crate with her brothers, and often will be in there on the pillow shortly before we are ready to get them in. While she loves sleeping on a pillow with her siblings, she likes her alone time too. She will occasionally go into the crate by herself during the day for a nap.

All puppies are in foster care and are not located in our office. Since all of our puppies are held in private foster homes, we look to have an approved application prior to sending someone to a private residence. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an application. Online applications are located on our H.O.P.E website @ www.hopesafehouse.org.

Upon approval of your application, we will contact you with the foster home phone number to arrange a meet and greet. There is no cost or obligation to apply.

*Basic obedience training classes are required for all puppies at an approved certified training facility of your choice. H.O.P.E. pays $50.00 towards the overall cost of classes. You will be required to leave a $100.00 deposit for training at time of adoption. This deposit is 100% refundable after completing the basic obedience class.

All puppies will be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neutered*, microchipped and a 30-day health certificate. *If they are too young to be altered, the fee includes spay/neutered at one of our preferred clinics All pets have a lifetime return policy.

Thank you for your interest.
